Kia Drive Wise Provides Ocala With Plenty of Safety

When it comes to our new Kia lineup, drivers can all be confident that they're going to have plenty of safety watching out for them. With Kia Drive Wise, available across our lineup here at Jenkins Kia of Ocala, as it offers a suite of safety technology that is going to provide you with plenty of confidence.

So, what does Kia Drive Wise include?

You'll find Blind Spot Detection + Rear Cross Traffic Alert to keep you aware of vehicles and objects in your blind zones and helps with backing in and out of parking spaces. There's also Proactive support, which provides you with information on speed limits as it actively finds signage, and will display the speeds for your on the instrument cluster. That same feature also works as the Lane Keeping Assist system, as it will warn you when you stray from the lane. There's also all-around protection with Around view monitor, which has four cameras that looks in all directions to help you park and negotiate tight squeezes.

There's also Autonomous Emergency Braking, which will give you warnings with a sound when you're approaching a potential collision risk, as it uses a camera and sensors to monitor other vehicles and pedestrians. If you don't react quick enough, it will brake your Kia to avoid an accident or mitigate one. For backing up, there's the Smart Parking Assist system, which will help you find the right space, and will take over the steering to guide you into that spot with ease.

Rounding it all out is Advanced Smart Cruise Control which will operate in cruise control, but will use sensors to detect a vehicle or obstacle ahead and decelerate or even stop to keep a safe distance and avoid collision before returning to the cruising speed once the vehicle has been passed.

That's a lot to like and drivers from The Villages, Lady Lake, and Leesburg, FL can stop in and see it all here at Jenkins Kia of Ocala as our team would be happy to provide you with more details and arrange test drives in new Kia models today.
