The 2019 Kia Sorento in Ocala FL

Which Kia Sorento Model Should I Buy?

While we can't answer that question for you directly, we can give you a quick rundown of the seven trim levels offered by the 2018 Kia Sorento, so you can make your way to that decision more easily:

Sorento L: The base L trim is well equipped, offering standard a potent engine, a standard rearview camera, and Bluetooth® capability. The optional third-row is not available on this trim.

Sorento LX: If you're looking for the optional third-row of seating, this is where you'll find it. This trim also adds some amenities, such as convenient USB 2.1 charger ports.

Sorento LX V6: As you might expect, this trim replaces the previous engine with a 3.3-liter V6, capable of 290 horsepower and 252 pound-feet of torque. It offers mostly the same equipment found on the LX, though there are some features available on this trim that aren't offered at the LX trim. While the third-row seating is optional on the LX, the LX V6 makes it standard.

Sorento EX 2.0T: Third-row seating is unavailable on this trim. The UVO 7.0-inch Touchscreen Display, however, is offered standard, where previously it was only an option (except for base L trim). Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ join the lineup as standard on this trim, too.

Sorento EX V6: Keeping most of the features found on the previous trim, the aforementioned V6 engine also found on the LX V6 is the powerplant inside this trim.

Sorento SX: At this penultimate trim, the UVO System with Voice-Command Navigation and an 8.0-incgh Color Touchscreen Display supplants the previous UVO system. That's perfect, because this trim also makes the Inifitny® Premium 10-Speaker Surround Sound System standard, which is unavailable on the previous trims.

Sorento SX Limited: Looking for the highest level of standard driver-assist features? This is the trim where you'll find them. Previously unavailable or only optional, the following are standard on this ultimate SX Limited trim: Advanced Smart Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning System, and Lane Departure Warning System.
