The Niro seats five, with 40.5 inches of front headroom, 41.5 inches of front legroom and 39.8 inches of rear legroom. The 60/40 rear seat folds and reclines, and cargo space runs 21.9 cubic feet behind it and 61.4 cubic feet with it folded. A power liftgate and power sunroof are standard on SX and SX Touring and included in the EX Premium Package.

Comfort builds as you move through the lineup. The S adds a 10-way power driver's seat with power lumbar and heated front seats, and SX and SX Touring add ventilated front seats, driver's memory and a heated steering wheel. Dual-zone automatic climate control is standard on every trim, and rear climate vents come on the EX and above.

A 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto sits at the center of every 2027 Niro dash, and SX and SX Touring models add navigation. On the SX Touring, a second 12.3-inch screen serves as the instrument display, creating one wide sweep of glass.

Every trim includes Kia Connect with a complimentary three-year subscription, plus Remote Start, voice recognition and two USB-C ports in each row. The EX and above add a wireless phone charger. SX and SX Touring upgrade to an eight-speaker Harman Kardon system, and EX buyers can add it with the EX Premium Package.

Each 2027 Niro trim has its own upholstery. The LX is trimmed in Charcoal woven cloth, the S in Charcoal SynTex and cloth, and the EX, SX and SX Touring in Charcoal SynTex. Those three trims can also be ordered with Sky Gray SynTex at no extra cost for a lighter look.

Gloss-black interior accents appear on every trim, and a leather-wrapped shift knob comes on the EX and above. Outside, the S, EX, SX and SX Touring offer seven paint colors, including the new Ivory Silver and Sunset Beige, and the LX offers five.
