For shoppers who want more responsive performance, the available 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder is estimated to generate 190 horsepower and comes matched with an 8-speed automatic transmission with manual control. Kia has also introduced a new hybrid setup built around a 1.6-liter engine and a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.

Capability is another important part of the redesigned Seltos.
